About this resource

This Alcohol: How it Affects the Body Presentation Display focuses on the many negative effects that alcohol can have on a user’s body. The display begins with an explanation that occasional, heavy use (binge drinking) or consistent, long term drinking can lead to serious health problems.

The display covers nine different bodily systems and lists serious health conditions that may arise as a result of alcohol consumption. Bodily systems include: eyes, brain, mouth, throat, heart, stomach, liver, pancreas, kidneys, blood and bones, and reproductive organs.

This display is an effective way to demonstrate the negative effects of alcohol consumption as well as to remind everyone to “Stop – Think – Don’t Drink!”
