Key Features:
- Children will understand that the coronavirus is a virus that can give people a disease called COVID-19. Learning the facts about the virus and how to protect yourself can help make the coronavirus less scary to children. The activity book then has an activity focusing on germs and how children should not share items to avoid sharing germs.
- Children learn that they need to wash their hands often and at least 20 seconds to make germs go away. Including a fun maze activity helps reiterate the importance of washing your hands.
- Kids will learn how COVID-19 is spread through little droplets from the lungs. To avoid spreading droplets they should cough and sneeze into their elbows.
- Emphasizes that children should not touch their faces. The mouth, eyes, and nose are the easiest places for COVID to enter the body.
